Man & van · small moves

Man and van in Cricklewood.

Not every job needs a full crew. A single item, a room, a studio, or a short hop around NW2 — a friendly driver and the right-sized van does it. Same careful wrapping and access planning, scaled down so you pay for the job, not the overkill.

When it fits

Small jobs,
done properly.

Man-and-van is the sensible choice when a full house move would be too much van and too much crew. Around Cricklewood that covers a lot of the moving that actually happens: a student room near the Broadway, a room from a house-share, a few pieces over to Neasden or Willesden, a marketplace sofa that will not fit in the car.

The difference between us and a bloke with a van is the care and the planning. We wrap what needs wrapping, protect your doorways and the communal stairs, and check access at both ends so a lift gets booked or a parking spot gets sorted before we arrive. One or two movers do the lifting, so you are not stuck holding the heavy end on a landing.

It is also the right call for part-loads and short-lets, and storage over the summer is easy to add alongside. If the job grows, we will be straight with you about when a proper house removal makes more sense.

Man & van — questions

Good to know.

Is man-and-van cheaper than a full removal?
For a small load, yes — you are paying for the right-sized van and one or two movers rather than a full crew and a big lorry. We will tell you honestly which makes sense once we know what is moving.
Can you do a single item, like a sofa or a fridge?
Absolutely — single items and awkward pieces are everyday man-and-van jobs. We wrap them, protect your doorways and floors, and get them there safely, whether it is a marketplace pickup or a gift to a family member.
Do you help carry, or just drive?
We carry. The whole point is a mover or two plus the van, so you are not lifting the heavy end yourself. Tell us about stairs or lifts at both ends so we bring the right number of hands.
Do you cover Neasden and Willesden too?
Yes — they are right on our doorstep across the North Circular. A room over to Neasden (NW10) or a few pieces to Willesden is a short, familiar run.
