Questions & answers

Frequently asked.

Everything people around Cricklewood usually want to know before they book — storage, man-and-van, flats, the busy Broadway, and the run across to Europe.

Do you cover all of Cricklewood and NW2?
Yes — the whole of NW2 is home turf. Cricklewood Broadway and Lane, the streets towards the station and Brent Cross, Childs Hill, Dollis Hill and the Neasden side. We also cover the neighbouring edges near Kilburn, Willesden and West Hampstead.
Do you offer storage in Cricklewood?
We do — clean, secure storage for a short gap between homes or a longer hold while a sale goes through or a place is done up. Everything is inventoried when it goes in and returned in the condition it left. Tell us roughly how long you need and we build it into the quote.
Can you do a man-and-van job rather than a full removal?
Absolutely — it is one of the things we are asked for most around here. A single item, a room, or a small move is a straightforward man-and-van booking: one or two movers and the right-sized van, with the same care, scaled down.
Do you move flats and mansion blocks?
Constantly — Cricklewood is full of them. Walk-up conversions, mansion flats along the Broadway, new apartments near the station. We plan the stairs or the lift, protect the communal areas, and sort parking so the van sits close.
What about parking on the Broadway or a narrow side street?
We check access before the day. The Broadway (the A5) is busy with tight kerbs, and the side streets are often permit-controlled, so where it helps we arrange a parking-bay suspension so the van is by your door rather than a street away.
Do you handle house removals as well as small moves?
Yes — full house moves are the core of what we do, from a one-bed conversion to a family house near Childs Hill. We wrap and protect everything, dismantle and reassemble furniture, and set the new place up properly.
Can you pack for us?
Full pack, part pack, or just the fragile things — your call. We can drop boxes and materials off ahead of the day, or turn up and pack the lot. Breakables and awkward items always get proper wrapping.
Do you move to and from Neasden and Willesden too?
Regularly — they are right on our doorstep across the North Circular. A move over to Neasden (NW10) or Willesden is a short, familiar run with the same care and options as an NW2 move.
You mention Europe — where do you move to?
We run removals from Cricklewood to France, Spain, Italy and Portugal, and can quote for other European destinations. Whether it is a full home or a part-load shared with other moves on the same route, we handle the transport and the customs paperwork.
How does moving to Europe work after Brexit?
Your used household goods can still move to the EU, but they travel as a customs consignment now — a valued inventory plus transit and entry documents. We prepare these with you before the van leaves and explain what each is for, so nothing holds you up at the border.
How do you work out a quote?
It comes down to the volume of what is moving, the distance, and access at both ends — stairs, lifts, and parking on a Cricklewood street. For anything sizeable we do a quick video walk-round or a visit, so the written quote is accurate rather than a guess.
Are you insured?
Yes — goods-in-transit and public liability cover on every job, local or European. If you have anything of unusually high value, tell us at quote stage so we can make sure it is covered properly.
When can you move me?
We keep some flexibility for evenings and weekends, which suits people who cannot take a weekday off and businesses moving outside trading hours. Get in touch and we will find a slot that works — the sooner you ask, the more choice there is.
Do you do student and short-let moves?
Yes — Cricklewood has a lot of them. A student room or a short-let move is a classic man-and-van job, and storage over the summer is easy to arrange alongside it.
How do I get a quote?
Fill in the quote form with what is moving and the two addresses, or drop us a line. We will look it over and come back with a written quote — no obligation, and no pressure to book.
